NCR-26-0039
Raised 15 Jul 2026 by Paul Wright · against SEVEN-BU revision C · due 17 Sep 2026
What was found
SEVEN rev-C base units built between 15 January and 20 December 2024 lose backup capacity to roughly 11 hours after two years in service. Traced to a charge-termination fault in the rev-C charging circuit.
Containment and corrective action
Rev D corrects the charge termination in hardware. Firmware 7.4.2 adds a capacity self-test and reports it to SmartCare. Recall RC-26-0002 raised against the affected build window.
